Mark replaced the M  name of the 2013 Atlantic hurricane season. 2012's Alberto was replaced with Alex, 2010's Alex was changed to Alexa. Hurricane Alberto was at 115 knots. Irene caused a lot of damage. Sally caused $155 billion to the Caribbean.

Hurricane Alberto

Subtropical Invest 02L formed on May 21 then it formed into Subtropical Depression 02 on May 24. 02 became Subtropical Storm Alberto on May 25. It became Tropical Storm Alberto on May 28. Tropical Storm Alberto weakened to a tropcial depression on May 30 but became a tropical storm on May 31.  On June 1st it became a hurricane. On June 2 it became a category 2 hurricane. On June 3rd it became a major hurricane. It was category 3. June 4th: it became a category 4 hurricane. It was a low-end category 4 hurricane. Barry was absorbed by Alberto on June 6th while in The Bahamas as a Category 2 hurricane. It striked The Bahamas by June 7th. It turn extra tropical on  June 17. The system was later absorbed by Subtropical Storm Chantal.
