Tropical Storm Fiona was a moderate intensity tropical storm tha developed from a tropical wavw in tye western Atlantic Ocean in mid August 2016. It later made landfall near Nova Scotia as an extratropical low, resulting in extensive flooding, and 2 deaths. It was the first storm to hit the area with former tropical origins since 2014's Hurricane Gonzalo.
